As part of the cultural development analysis carried out on territorial aspects the GRANEM has organised, in association with the Festival of Jazz “Bouche à Oreille” ("Word of mouth"), Bouchemaine, Angers, France a Research Day about Jazz Territories.
This day is the opportunity to study from a social and scientific point of view Jazz music, sometimes presented as a metaphor in economics or management of management issues or improvisation. Sometimes Jazz is presented as a crossroad of several aesthetic fields of the past century, as has been demonstrated by the exhibition "The Century of Jazz" recently presented at the Museum Quai Branly in Paris. Jazz can also be presented as the centrepiece of a meshed network consisting of actors, as passionate as they are varied.
